Its pretty obvious, most of you know who I am or have (heaven forbid) actually met me face to face :P

I went to a funeral/wake today, the mother of a lady who works with me.

One of the best funerals (if there can be such a thing) I have been to, humour, sencerity, and celebration about an extremely loving lady, full of life and a great "character".
Low and behold, a fellow RS member was in attendence :shock:

Personally was a pleasure to have caught up with him, and find out who he really is. 8)
(The words "Butts is that you" were a dead give away :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: )

So the question I ask is not who do you know of, but who do you actually know and have met? 8)
My name can not be used in your list, as its an obvious one. :lol: :lol:

My list is extensive, but how many of you actually personally know each other, or even made an attempt :twisted: :P :mrgreen:

Mrs Butts probably knows more of you than you know of each other :shock: Now theres a scary thought :mrgreen:

So, a list of Realsurf members you have personally met OR a list of Realsurf members you would like to meet! 8)

I believe also that a BBQ is in the wings, and will be happening shortly. So those who have a "would like to meet" list,
it could be worthwhile turning up :wink:

went to school with gumby, sg7820, floyd and ppaattoo.

Have met in real life; butts, salty, iggy, spoon, kyles, coops, bc, puurri, reefer, RV, ST, Wands, Hatchy, Daryl, Dino, Don, SA Surfer, and a few more I'm sure I have forgotten.

I saw lessormore last week down the coast but didn't say hi. And I have a few friends in common with rev but have yet to meet him.

Would like to meet BB, Lambi Pambi, Deesee and Fong in real life.

Where was that-Sandon, Austinmer or Boneyards? You must have recognized my board.
Ive met Mark Pridmore,Jimi and jet1(and Butts) and seen 2ndreef out Wanda one day.
Also saw Don one day at Long Reef.

Tiger, TrevG, MarcusH, Fong, JF, Quangers, Scot, Rightbrain+, Steve Shearer, EmpireF ( think thats his username ),lessormore, slowly, jorgo.

have had something to do with but not met in person yet - longinus, Guard, Jimi, Butts, Wands, RV, Nick Carroll, oldman, jetlee, beerfan, goofy, betty boop..bombora,SDC, Hatchman .there might be more and if I think of them I will add them later..I would like to meet all of the above but there is a few on the forum who I wouldnt waste my time with but then again only the decent genuine types would show up at a bbq...

would also like to meet Empowered - ( for his interest in alternative shapes and his different view on surfing and other things )
RichQ- just coz he is experienced in the industry
and basically be happy to meet any others too coz we all love surfing so should have plenty in common, would love to make a bbq one day but its 7 hrs away and with shop, business and family, always gunna be abit tricky... 8)...topic might seem a little ghey but good topics have been rare as well behave league players of late IMHO... 8)

I think I've forgotten a few there. :idea:

I've had pm relations with a dozen or more other members on the forums, but we aren't quite ready to come out of the closet yet and we don't like to talk about it, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Some of these have even progressed to sharing actual email addresses, but at this stage we are taking it slowly and just seeing where it will all end up :shock: . :oops:

Missed 2 christmas gigs with legitimate reasons, missed all the barbies because I couldn't find my passport, or had kids soccer, or whatever.

Am determined to form a committee to set a task for a sub-committee to come back with recommendations to be considered by the full committee in relation to possibly setting a determination to attend a future barbeque, subject to certain conditions, which could be sent back to the sub-committee for review.

Looking forward to meeting most of the critters on here, provided beer drinking is involved, surfing is optional however.
