I guess we're all just somewhere on the journey to sainthood that the good citizens of Newport have achieved.

I wonder what NC, TC or Kelly would look like if they grew their hair out instead of constantly shaving their noggins.

I mean seriously would this make them all look like Chico the clown on heavy prescription drugs or would this reveal a more serious and sensitive side to these characters?

Just a thought I had for the day?

I guess the main thing is whether they get the full blown baboon butt look or a chrome dome with a ring around it.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I was having a prawn/ chilli squid salad and glass of chardonnay at Sandbar restaurant @ DY yesterday with a cuppla mates and old TC walked past (thurs ,1pm). First up the road and then later back down the road.

What really struck me was how grey he has become.

This really upset me.

This was a guy who produced an Oscar winning performance in Mad Wax.
This was a guy who did the sickest snap out Pipeline ever and here I was witnessing a legend growing old in front of my eyes.

I tried not to cry but then I thought the other restaurant patrons might think I’m some kinda sensitive weirdo with issues.

I think Tom ‘gun’ Cazza is thinking about packing up and moving to DY. He had that DY look about him. :|

That DY look is something you work hard all your life to achieve. I wish him the best. Enjoy your squid.

There are still a lot of options available for booking over the googlemanet.

Coming in the second week of the school hols (NSW) which is after the QLD school hols have finished, so the northern tourists will have left town, and midweek, and short stay only.

If there is nothing there we can just keep driving to Sawtell, or central coast, or Sydney, so there are back-up plans to the back-up plans. Will only bother with Byron if things fall into place.

Thanks for the tip Steve, have stayed further down that way before.
I go to one of your back-up options every year in the second week of the hols-always get good waves at this time of year.

Maroubra or Coogee.

Plenty of beaches, pubs/clubs/bars all very close.
City 15min drive away and traffic not too bad.

Dear Coops
Why cultivate a look that will only limit your opportunities in life.

I think DY people need to reach for the stars and start aspiring to become a little more than just Woolies checkout operators, professional council throw-out rubbish collectors and cone packers.

See Boofheadcantsurf.
You see…my thought processes do extend beyond imagining Kelly as Chico the clown
