I thought it was gonna be a fun board to surf in slightly overhead surf of most types but instead it's turned out to be a bit more specialised than that -- really relishes intense steep waves, heavy fast moving beachies and reef breaks to around 6', it's a bit clunky at slower speeds or in less powerful waves.

6' 10" - for small days.
6' 6" - for those in between days
6' 3" - for when the "PUNCH" arrives 8)

Waiting on a new creation to add to the quiver, MP Custom. 8) 8)
Will let you know how it goes!! :P

I actually have a 8' 6" mal/log/length that I haven't ridden yet. Was bought for Mrs Butts, except she has taken
a liking to the 6' 10" (which she actually rides quite well I might add).
And after my first experience on a Mal, Fong lent me his, at Tee Trees, I don't believe I EVER want to try and ride one again.
All these drawings about dinosaurs… Why can’t we have photos?

42 yo
6' 2"
88kg
Surfing 25+ years

Standard everyday board is a Simon XFC 6'8" * 19 1/4 * 2 5/8

6'10" * 19 3/4 * 2 5/8 high volume with a lot of extra foam in the middle to front half for paddling power for when I'm feeling lazy

Use those 2 90% of the time

Others gathering dust are:

6'6" * 18 3/4 * 2 1/2 Still love this board but the lack of paddling power kills me

7'4" * 18 1/2 * 2 3/4 gun

9'2" Mal which unfortunately got way too much use over summer.

51 yrs old, 5'4" 53kg.
About 6 years on and off and never through winter due to being a single parent with kids in sport and living 35 mins to the closet beach depending on traffic!
I am still pretty crap but peservering, need to be able to continue through winter to improve and will be trying to do so this winter. Also in the past had borrowed a board then got the wrong board for me now have a 6'2" miller F-Skate making paddling easier.
Only surf the small stuff as the sets on sat. were closing out to quick and I am just too bloody slow in getting up, when you get over 50 your flexibity and agility is shit, well in my case!
So if you see an older woman out in the surf on the Northern Beaches struggling give her a break LOL!

37 y.o and 25 years surfing. 5'10" and a half (the half is important) and about 80 kegs.

My main boards are a 6'3" standard squaretail thruster (can't remember the dims),
And a 6'0" quad-fish (can't remember the dims of that either)

I've got a pretty large quiver but it's all for show.

I ride a 5'3, 18 1/2, 2 1/8th fish quad for those TINY days (it really struggles as a quad when its over 2 foot, apparently it works better as a thruster when there is waves. I find it goes quite well in 2-3 foot sucky lefts)

Normally (i.e. when there is waves) ride a 5'7, 17 1/8, 2 1/8. Had to go an 8th wider because im getting fat

i stand at a macking 5'6.5, and weigh at about 55?

It's a newy - well, around 2 or 3 years old anyway. So far as I know Mitchell Rae's still around and very popular with traveller surfers and people like me.

It's not a flextail or anything but it has enough volume for me and goes fast with soem great concaves - that's what I suspect anyway. It's the board I use for when I'm fully surf fit in surf 3 foot and above, although it surfs fine in smaller stuff too.

6'0", 87 kgs at best, 92 kgs at worst, 51 yo.

I have to squeeze the following into the bathroom in the spaces that aren't taken up the lad's 20 odd board collection.

2 x 5'8" x 20.5" Rabbidge fishes - the old one is better than the new one, so I still got both. Bit off them at the moment.

2 x 6'4" rounded square Gunther - one epoxy, one PU, but otherwise the same
6'4" Gunther 6 channel swallow tail

7'0' Rounded Pin JS - great semi gun

7'10 Greg Clough shaped Aloha (now that's old, but guns never really get old, do they?)

9'3" Sean Wilde mal. Not mine actually - the good wife decided to try to learn to surf late last year (again) so I got it second hand for her (honest) She lasted two surfs but I ended up with a serious longboard habit that has taken all my willpower to quit (I've been clean 10 days). Evil bastards, those longboards.

17 years old, 18 in Sep (yeeeew :D )
72 kg
6'2
Lanky as fcuk
Bout the same figure as Owen Wright... Too bad I suck

Board's I'm riding:
6'1 x 18 3/8 x 2 3/8 Byrne Phil Macca TL2 - newey, had it for about a month now
6'2 x 18 1/4 x 2 3/8 Peninsula - very fast board. bogs a bit in turns, but still alright
6'6 x 19 1/2 x 3 Trigger Stubby - ride it as a twin fin, great for 360's in crap gutless waves

Not anywhere close to completing my quiver!
