Yep. I have no interest in nose riding ( nor the skill or waves ), just love the feeling of a big board gliding along.

They're fun in decent waves as well.

You being funny or clever? Pig outline longboards look much more usable than the standard paddle pop wide as fkukk nosed ones

Haven't seen the ones you're talking about though

Perhaps I should have used better terminology considering pig is a style of longboard.

I meant they look like dogs...

Today and yesterday, a four foot plus reef bombie a few hours south of Sydney. Real swell magnet. First time I've surfed it. Steep take off with a fun inside bowl section you could carve up. Really shifty wave, and elusive at times. Kinda like a ripbowl. It looks like it'd be a great spot in a big swell.

mostly the coolangatta points. pretty knifed out hulls with big greenough flex fins. go unreal if you're into riding longboards in head high waves too

The mid length Kook Killer looks good. Spoken to a few blokes down here who have Gato boards and the like them a lot. Check out Wildthings Gallery for candy.

Mate I built a wing on that place when I was right into my Neal Purchase Jrs. There are a bunch of seconds out the back Taylor doesn't advertise as well.

I cant remember who wrote about the guy riding a Black Beauty in small surf or where it was. Anyway a guy in 2 ft NE puffing DY crapolla was riding a Black Beauty today and managed to drop in on me, lying down over the falls on an obvious close out we went. Kind of funny, kind or close to dinging a new board.

According to today's Manly Daily, Layne B went out there anyway. She used the dubious reasoning that there were a lot dolphins around her to protect her from shark attack. :-?

Quite surprising to hear such a comment from her, unless she was trying to be humorous.

Couple of years ago there was a Bullshark out at Manly. I stayed for a while but was too spooked to stay out, but Ol' Layney stayed out. I guess her skin would be quite tough, but I reckon she is a cutie in person.
