Heading back to Sydney after scoring a few on the FNC. Crescent was good on Thursday and Friday. Surfed where Buddy mentioned on Saturday and Sunday. Pretty small but fun if you got one. Kingy and Caba on Monday. The Pass on Tuesday. Zilch yesterday. Might try Boomerang this morning.

Definitely not. I can think of few things worse. Newcastle wouldn’t have been a bad venue to watch if you were so inclined though.

This morning was absolutely pumping down here. Clean, 5-8 ft sets, powerful swell.
I had a fairly brutal hangover which wasn’t ideal, but managed to get a couple of good ones!

Bondi is looking good. Crazy crowds. Junior has just hit it. I’m contemplating whether to give it a wack after breakfast. Wicked rip in the south corner. Lefts and dredging rights. I’ve surfed the last seven of eight days with less crowds.
Went out. Too crowded but the lefts were going off. The odd bomb coming through.

Four foot reef. A little inconsistent but plenty of thump when they came through. Some nice beachies earlier on the higher tide

Bondi. Still good banks. Crowded as you would expect and a strong rip in the corner.

The wind has a lot more south west in it this morning. Expect less accurate swell forecasting now the Queenslanders can’t look at the comp footage to predict what Sydney will be like.

A solo surf at my own backyard beach, protected from the westerlies. Little 2 ft peaks on the low.
Took the GOAT board, I was ripping out there! It has The Power of Slater within.

Took the missus down for a frolick on her softie at lunchtime. Tide still a bit too low at 1:00. Got a couple before the onshore came up.

Watched the video footage of a wave at Bondi this morning. Five guys take off on the first left. Four on the next. It looks packed.
