I’m really regretting using that analogy

Let me put it this way. I was surprised that after a 9 month hiatus, I found I really hadn’t lost much skill wise. Just fitness.
Lol you’ll just make it worse

Hey offshore what wetsuit are you wearing at the moment?
Considering a last minute Thanksgiving trip to the OBX.

3-2... should be fine up there this weekend. It's more than enough down here.
OBX is a decent getaway. Try to get all the way down to Hatteras, there's a good campground there, Frisco Woods.
Bring mozzie repellent.

can one of you know it all cnuts please tell me what the fcuk is a pop-up?

I don't even know if I do a pop-up.

From your recent footage, Nick, I would call it a stumble-up. Accompanied, I’m assuming, by an audible grunt of effort

I say ‘recent’ but it was actually an ASL board test from years ago. I’m guessing things have only got worse since then

I'm trying to perfect the being-pushed-up-by-the-lip method, seen here at Sunset (first wave of the set)

and also Rockies

The idea is if you let the wave break on top of you, it disguises the stumble-up

I'm glad the Sunset beach one is the close up. It would be had to see you on the zoom out.

I’ll tell you what’s easy. Catching a fucking fish. I reckon I’ve tried three or so times and caught a fish twice.
You throw in a hook with bait or lure, fish bites it, you reel it in.
Last time was in png off a tinny with a lure. Caught a barracuda that fed 11 people.
My ‘gun fisherman’ mate caught nothing
