I bet. The alley was about waist high, the merries reefs looked pretty big

I reckon Nicks local was one of the few places to work on the NB’s. Manly to Narra not much working for the early, plenty of size but a shitload of wind to deal with.

Bronte was looking good this arvo. Junior said it was pretty good this morning as well. Comp on and super crowded. About the maximum I'd have a crack at if I was feeling keen and it wasn't Sunday crowds. Plenty of close outs.

Yep, Bronte is a pretty solid club. General surfing standard is pretty high. There's actually a lot more grommets surfing there and at Bondi these days. Ten years ago there was a real tendency to ride lids.

Chest high this morning, 30 out, a bit lumpy but the offshore will fix that soon. I think I'll wait for the 22s swell due mid afternoon though.

Had a bash at Bronte. Mainly dodging close outs. Saw some very nice waves though. Managed to get one in.

what are you cnuts doing dodging close-outs while Carroll is up there by himself scoring empty perfection?

Not driving for an hour to get there.

no they aren't btw, there's a solid pack of late 20s boys who hold the fort with ease, and about 600 14 year olds who are like fcuken piranhas.

wild this arvo, solid 4-6+ with a swell trying to increase but the east swell off that NZ fetch is already hitting and totally has the wood on this south thing which has turned to shit.

I blew it today, kind of.

waited too long waiting for the swell to fill in and missed the best of it.

had a great first hour and should have called it quits and then got stuck in this bad rhythm for the next 2 hours and kind of paddled in.
