Perfect place for a RS BBQ, the outdoor batting opportunities are endless.

Went for a paddle since I took the day off. Pretty frustrating little surf. Pretty much gave up after a couple of crappy going nowhere rights and the usual reluctant to break smaller ones. Rip was deceptively strong so everyone kept finding themselves too far out.
Finally snared a left that hit the bank properly and lined up with a decent wall. Plenty of speed down the line and managed to float it on my backhand off the close out at the end to finish......that made my day.

Hernia full recovery. Even the small scar is quickly fading.
Ear - seems ok. Iām using plugs. Going to do the other ear probs late spring.

I've been watching footage of the Bukit a bit lately, Cranky. Some of the footage of Balangan at size looks great but the inside looks nightmarish. It's like the whole reef sucks dry with whitewater belting across it for the length of the beach. It looks really treacherous to get in with no real channels that I can see.
