Couple of feet (max) of close outs down here. Swell is goooone

half the size here with northerly scarring on it.

It was perfectly clean in Bal all morning which was nice. Some good fun waves when you waited for the sets.
Only about 3-4foot and some pretty long waits.
The main break had a ridiculous crowd on it so I let them have it. Looked like some smokers there when they came though.
We definitely didn't do anywhere near as good as you blokes further south did the last couple of days.

Lowers again this morning, solid 4'6', a little bit wind hacked, about 20 people out, all scattered around the lineup a bit bewildered by the swell energy I think. Wind went offshore five minutes into the surf and half the crew went in. ha ha

I surfed a local reef-rock-sand peak, a wave I haven't surfed for a while.

Something about riding my Bonzer freed me up , I was starting to get frustrated and locked up at the lack of surf.

Last 2 days everything seemed so much looser and easier.

Oney Anwar was out there with an Israeli mate of mine.

Weird. An Indonesian and an Israeli.

One other local shaper.

I was just lollygagging around, it wasn't my turn and this beautiful set wave came through.

No-one even looked at it so I asked the question : no-one? and went.

It was like the worst wave that has ever broken at Keramas mixed with 3ft Ulladulla bommie.

It kept standing up in front of me so I kept carving chunks out of it.

Riding a Sharp-eye HT2.5. Little swallow with tail channels.

Stop torturing me with all this surf talk. Arseholes!

5', 17 seconds and offshore on Sunday - will be some broken boards on the Surfcoast.

I'm down at Broulee visiting some Canberra crew. As usual, skunk fest. Whenever I go past Ulladulla I'm lost in the wilderness with where to go.

Heading to a party at Potato point later, maybe there'll be something

SKUNK FEST FTW

Well it's solid now. I reckon its jumped from 2ft to 6 foot in the last hour.

Just got flogged by a solid one.

Went for an afternoon paddle at Bronte. Jacked up from my lunchtime check. Copped a couple of big ones on the head....but managed to hang onto my board.

Surfed till dark. About 2ft and pretty fun. A cpl of fore runners I think at about 4 foot but they missed the bank anyway.

buoy data looks good. time to paddle out.

There was a kid out there yesterday with a tube up his nose taped to his cheek. Not the sort of surf you would advise someone wearing that to go out in. Some of the regular sets were closing out from Bronte to Tama.
