Not much happening at the North end on the late yesterday. The south end was pretty straight and hollow.

Eloura beachies. Waist to chest high plus. A little wind affected but still some reasonable shape and peaky thanks to the mix of east and south swells.
Getting the new 6’2 lost thruster pretty dialed in now. Very quick down the line with plenty of drive off the front foot. The deep single concave really livens it up.

Strong powering 5' plus rendered a bit groggy by backwash energy, fading to 3-4' later in the afternoon as the wind turned NNE. Beautiful afternoon though, wow.

short round. still a sizeable slab of foam but looks a bit more shortboardy than the PJ. Lost does those type of boards really well I reckon. Pretty sure that iggy will be surprised by the short round's range

Well it’s punching well above it’s weight so far for a step down hi-perf. I got it for smaller windswell type waves, but it’s been handling the 4-5 foot range with ease and wanting more.

Suck rock for a couple then Voodoo. Too much east in the swell making it break a bit wide and wonky, but a surprising amount of size with some slabby sets breaking well overhead.
The lost handled the size and grunt no worries, but for the left racetracks I’d rather then feel of a rounded pin step up with a longer rail line.

Rocked down to Bondi for a swim. Set came through as we arrived. About fifty guys scrambling to avoid getting clobbered by the beach length close out.....and the next......and the next.

More swims today. Great little lagoon at South Bondi. Weird swell directions. Waves went from too full and breaking on the shore at 8:30 to too low and closing out in two inches of water by 11:30. Mal Comp on as well.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Took the day off and had a couple of surfs. Nth end Bendy on the early high tide for the first one. It was a bit wonk with the little northerly wind swell cutting across the main sth swell but the sth swell was up a notch and pushing head high and well over on the sets. Banks were kind of shit though so the bigger ones were shutting down. Got a couple.
Lunch time at the the island before the swell dropped out with the lowering tide was pretty nice though. Direction was a little east of perfect but there was a few inside runners that wound down the reef just right.

Nice combo of styles there, Duck. Studied understatement with a dash of Hatchie hyperbole thrown in.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Had 3 surfs today at the point.
The early was about 4ft odd bigger one.
The bank isn't that good but some fun ones.
Surfed by myself through lunch and it really started to pulse.
Then another arvo surf about 4-6ft.
Came in and it had dropped off even further.
Caught up with our absent champion and we were looking at it wondering how it is only 4 ft out there and the energy had dropped right out of it too.

So meteorologists, why did the swell drop in the evening at the Ox?
