I took my daughter and her pal for a dawny at the Pass.

It was micro, micro peelers, but fun.

She got run over by a Japanese learner on a mal and a solid gash in her board.

at least it wasn't to her head Steve.

Wouldnt that be a daily occurrence at the Pass?

Small at Manly but worth the trip.

i remember, my third surf on a brand new custom CI last winter. 2 foot crisp snapper running down into greeny. and a japanese chick with her wetsuit on backwards mowed me down (over the falls after) and all three of her fins punctured my deck.

when we came up, she smiled at me and said thank you.

tbh if he was a pommy or Swiss I would have made a bigger deal about it.

Surfed the Bra Wednesday and Yesterday. Little. Nice little bank. Bugger all people out. Good vibes generally and waves shared. Pile of school kids came out at 1:00 pm. Time to get out. Waters been great. Good for my cough.

Crazy water day, the light was amazing. Between squalls and lightning it would clear to dark water, clear air and brilliant silver foam lines. Solid six foot plus but kinda broken up, wind offshore and onshore then back to offshore.

I was driven out of the water by a trememdous raining squall around 5.10pm, ran up to the surf club for a hot shower, and there was the entire Parramatta NRL squad. They’d just been getting flogged by Rob Rowland Smith in a weights course then a skills session at the local oval which had left them dirty, so Rob had brought them down to wash off. “What the fcuk have you all been doing?” I said, laughing at them. They were like gigantic babies, huge men, cackling and hooting and grunting, it was impossible to understand what they were saying. The coaching squad waited outside, all intelligent men who reminded me of maths teachers.

I made such a mess, even with the idiot proof solarez she'll be right mate ding repair method, of fixing the nose of this Maurice Cole pintail it took me all morning to get it water tight. Had to rip it off and redo it three times.
Finally got it to the Point. 3-5ft, 25 knots of side shore wind with spin drift everywhere and what looked like a river of current. Which it was.
hardly anyone out.Big holy rollers with some steep sections on the double-ups if you could duck dive the sets.

I made such a mess of the jump off. I really fcuked it up. Tried scrambling without waiting and ended up getting completely pole driven back into the rocks by an angry little sidewinder. I put the shoulder down and kept the board up and got nothing but a few gouges of flesh out ......no more dings on the board.
six three pintail. Feels like a giant board these days. Super sure footed on the bottom and the carve down. It was a nice opening run.

I was gonna lol at you getting nailed on the rock off but then thought "nah, here is some cnut having a crack on his own and getting a go out"

Loof, if you was here, we would have repaired straight to the 7 mile brewery for a cream ale.

they've got trendy/hipster BBQ food, but I can get a discount from the airport cafe on hot chips.
