Well I've had about 17 surfs at Bells and Winki over the past six days. It's been fun but now I want to go home.
Did you work out why people were fluffing their turns in the comp?

There’s three foot of east swell up there. Surely the points have something even if it’s cross-onshore?

Just can't get my head around surfing the Pass at the moment, even though I know it's really good.
you need a good dose of uneven beachbreaks and wonky reefs to put things into perspective.

It wasn't that good over Easter.
When it had size the angle was wrong, and when it swung round and was hitting the bank properly the swell dropped.

But the lack of NSW school hols and the hedge fundie and boomer influx was a godsend.
Even with a month of no fitness work and paddling with a fingertip flapping in the current I got a few from the rock to the cafe.

I'd be in the lycra with loofy queued up at the local cafe so quick I wouldn't even have time to put the boards on Gumtree.

There’s more than enough good options and variety down here that you’d still continue surfing. I’m sure of it.

is that because of the injury? i pity you if so. couldn't deal with only surfing when it's clean or pumping. that would limit it to probably a dozen or more times a year. as it is, i need to be in the water 2-3 times a week minimum, otherwise i'd need to drink aldi whiskey just to stay sane.

Noosa.
Seems to have become a habit over the last few Wednesdays.
First Point today not crowded despite the school holidays.
Had two hours of rides through to the beach.
Dare I say it was "pleasant"?

Those heats around the time Parko and Adriano went out, there were a lot of turns that these guys would usually nail with perfection, but they weren't looking as great as usual and a few came unstuck. So was wondering because you surfed it we could get the inside word on the waves.

Oh fk it. Just tell us what you thought of the waves and the comp would ya.
