Surfed at Pussy Point for the first time in my life.
As soon as I paddled out I could see why it's nicknamed that
Actually caught a few nice waves.
Still a bunch of Americans who were here for the NFOS.
Pussy Point. ???
NFOS. ???
bunch of Americans, I understood.
Someone had to ask.
Pussy Point = First Point, Noosa. Of the 30 or so out there today, at least half were sweet young things in very brief swimsuits.
Noosa Festival Of Surfing (last week).
Still a few Americans (may have been Hawaiian), who haven't gone home yet.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I think they also call the inside wave of point danger in Torquay, pussy point.

Trev, is it called pussy point because it's a soft wave or because of all the sweet young things in very brief swimsuits?

I like to think, based on today's observations, that it's the latter.
But it is also definitely the first.

Head to head and a half this morning. Goddamn 13s swell so I had to paddle AND duckdive.

Only four of us at first, a bit wild and woolly, but it settled down after a while. Plenty of ok waves. Expecting better this afternoon .

Well it did get better in the afternoon as the tide dropped.

But only about an hour into it with just four out, a big thunderstorm settled in over Kuta and the wind turned side on and it was all over.

Today is looking good though, just waiting for the tide as usual. Its a pity neap tides don't last all month.

Missed a 4 footer this morning, turned around and got smoked by a proper 6 footer.

I heart autumn.

fcuken super fun today, heaps of energy and variety still left in the swell but clean conditions exposing some cool sandbank re-arrangements. Almost worth the mid week gales!

Quick 30min session at mid-south maroubra. Walled up and freight-training but makeable. Surfed the 6’4 single. No top turns or cutties. just a take off, bottom turn, set the trim line and chase it down.

Surfed a 7ft singley for a change at Long Reef. Managed to cruise through a super fat section from miles out into a fast head high shore break that gave me a nano second of excitement as I thought I was going to thread the needle. Lip to head in ankle deep water. Highlight.
