Junky surf at mid tide Tama. More fun than I expected but the rip was strong and my shoulders still sore.

Highest high tide I think I've ever seen at Bronte. Practically at pool level. Crowds out of control.

South end on First light. Little rip bowls up to shoulder high. Mushy but pitching and fun.

21 mins trip. Record time. That’s quicker than Bondi to Maroubra according to google maps at 23 min beanmong lols

Hows the heat wave out west treating you Iggs?

Past couple of days Downtown Haldon St has been stinking hot. As evidenced by the almost complete absence of old blokes smoking Argileh in the cafes. But my joints a few streets away and on top of a hill with nearly 360 degree exposure to wind. So haven’t even really needed to use the air con yet.

Not too bad, so long as your goat is air conditioned.

Chest-high drainers on the low tide at dawn. Fun enough on a hot morning.

Unbelievably, there were a couple of blokes wearing steamers. Must be Queenslanders.

I spent my first couple of Sydney winters surfing in a spring suit. It was all I had. Kids all around me in steamers shivering away. Wooses!

Waves are non existent here today, but for the last week have had real nice waves on the reefs up to about 5ft, getting back into surfing, it's grouse

Same experience as BA. Today, and earlier this week I’ve seen blokes surfing in Long John wetsuits, and this this morning 2 blokes in steamers. I was hot in a 1mm vest.

Typical hot Sydney morning, left the beach at 7.30am and a car stalked me to my spot and was happy to wait, and block other cars, for 5 minutes while I changed.

Just shut the back door as the first hot blast of heat blew in.
I tell people Im not going when I get changed. They hold up traffic and create traffic jams. People try to cut around them and nearly run you over. It's fcuked.
