Well gotta be better than my grovel today in the NE wind at Manly. But I standby ready for action.

Yep. It was a washing machine this morning.

Yeah pretty messy. Some kinda ok semi clean bowls on the inside banks up north end. Water temp feels around 16 degrees

Thursday next week could be the day

There's surf in front of our place this morning but the water's poo brown and smelly. Also, a giant rooster is stomping around and up and down on the sand. I'm going to have to monitor the situation a bit before deciding what to do.

I'd never seen it before and didn't know where it had come from or what it was up to. The sight of it threw me off a bit, that's all. I had to look around and check my surroundings to make sure I was where I thought I was. Anyway it went off into the bushes up the beach and I scurried down and paddled out and got a few. It's pretty good today. Soon a friend from Hanoi will join me and we'll go surfing together.

Funny the thought of Steve and his roosters actually popped into my head when I first spotted the one this morning. Transported me to Bribie Island.

I thought it was pretty fun. A lot of them had a but of a lump in front which stopped them breaking but a lot of fun ones.

I thought Sydney was great in nor easters?

Iggy has based his while surfing career on that.

I've been surfing Tallows. Punchy fun lefts everywhere. Bath water warm.
