Just had a 2 hour solo session
Clean with a stiff offshore but still a bit of wobble
Some lovely peaks shifting around

That quartet feels sooo positive and drivey. Yet can pivot easily without moving my feet around
I like
Square or round tail?

it was chunky as all hell today. Like a beachbreak at the Point. Hard to find, and make, but these big wedges all along the bank. Finding a chip shot into them was the hard part. Crowded but so many waves from the close source, so close together but so powerful.....a unique kind of swell for SEQLD/NENSW when these trough/lows sit just offshore.
really fun.

it's not for sale. the rocker is the best thing about it. who wants an overpriced flat rockered SoCal clone mid length board for sydney waves

I actually brought a fun midlength from SoCal to Sydney and it was a total dog.
My wife brought one that was a dog over there and it was a hoot in the sort of shifty semi-closeout waves that get Iggy all moist.

Lake Tabourie - some good waves all weekend. Water was great and crowds were fine.

You neeedsss rocker for middies down here. Keeps the board nimble and responsive in shifty sectiony waves. Exhibit below.

Keep the man bun poetic flat rockered ones for cresent head or the pass and other such wimpy user friendly waves. Here, those flat type of boards are pigs and surf too flat and straight.

Iggy have you ever in your life used a solitary adjective to describe the surf?

It's always 'shifty sectiony' or 'sucky semi-closeout' or 'fat walled up lines'.

I'd take that board to the tip for aesthetic reasons alone.

It's true I do hate ugly surfing and ugly surfboards.
why ruin a beautiful wave with something ugly?

You've had a few ugly boards before. Real ugly. I won't name them, as to not bring the shaper into disrepute.
