Unfortunately I'm gonna miss it. I leave Tuesday next week, just as it starts to really hit up here.

Pity, I'm loving anything over 6' lately.

Could be but no legrope deck plugs in 75. May have been added later.
My rough guess is early/ mid eighties. It looks to be in good nick.
I have a very similar Pinnie at home that my son rides occasionally and a much better round tail from the same era that he rides a lot. Someone put some widow makers on the good one. It's an Emerald. A guy reckoned Brad Mayes shaped it but you can't tell because the bottom was resprayed.

Swell has muscled up down the coast this morning. Solid double over head at least at local magnets, too big for the beaches.
WSW blowing fairly hard, has killed off a few spots.

Haven't you got some architecting to do?

why yes, yes i do. Having worked the last 3 weeks without a day off, i thought i would give the straight lines a rest and look for some wet curvy ones.

Are you even going to find a wave long enough around here to wind it up into even third gear ?

With big straight south groundswells that spot will be big round slamming closeouts with funky cross-onshore winds. We’d have it to ourselves but . Better options elsewhere. I’m thinking of taking Wednesday off. Pm if keen.

Well, that was annoying. The fcuking offshore was ridiculous down here! Illawarra was blowing around 30knots at least all day. blew the swell away.

A shame as it seemed like some good grunty long period stuff there.

bondi was a good as it get's today at 2-4 ft. hardly crowded, numerous shapely banks, a sucky left rip bowl, in between a few closeouts, some nice long walls nearby too. wind not too troublesome, and almost balmy.

came home to find my street closed off because of a bomb threat at the nearby private school.
nothing political, as I've since found out. just a disgruntled, expelled student.

16 second period swell by Wednesday. hmmm.

well I have a 6'1" as well, it works in 2' rip bowls

I am kind of frothing on it all actually, got in contact with Phil and going to get two more, different though, a bit tweaked from the 6'5" which I feel is too specialised for most places in Oz, it's sooo severe

Its natural home at JBay is going to be fcuken nuts late this week into the next, best Jeffreys weather map ever
