Magic seaweed lol
Have I missed you posting your in-depth 6 week mapping analysis steve? Magicseaweed for where I live is startlingly accurate
Cos every day says it’s 1 foot, blown out and looks and smells like raw sewage?
I have it on good authority that the surf in Sydney is just as shit as it is here. Looking at iggy's pictures, I can well believe it
Iggy doesn't go to South Bondi though.
Exactly. Those pix are of Garie. About a forty to one hour drive from Bondi.

I mean, tastebuds? WGAF?

It may be the relative closeness of the reef but I've seen the biggest waves I've ever seen there.

Oh, it's not like it's one of my shibboleths or anything Nick. For years I was happy to accept the loudly shouted australian narrative of the best surf and the best surfers in the world. It's only in the last few years that the doubts have started to creep in

Four unforgettable days at the Newport Surf Racing Academy in Sydney, where you will be comprehensively out-swum, out-surfed, and finally half drowned on a bombie reef on a 10’ day by a bunch of 15-year-olds on paddleboards!

And finished off by a weekend in the Lakemba Collective, where you’ll pump weights, eat unrecognisable food, and get up at 3am to drive four hours for a 2-3’ rip bowl which is actually 6’!!

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Now, you are obviously not clueless but - and call me hypersensitive if you will - there seems to be a strong whiff of Australian exceptionalism, a kneejerk 'who do these pommie upstarts think they are' feeling behind a lot of the criticism.
I think, in this case, it might be justified. I met the MS owner/founder in Tahiti.

It's a good business, he's done well.

OK Day One.

Magic Seaweed says surf at Lennox Head is 5.5ft at 8s right now.

Current conditions: It's close to dead flat. Just a tiny little signal of leftover NE windswell and a smidgin of highly refracted S swell. About 0.5-1ft. Good morning for snorkelling off the rocks.
Surf will show this afternoon and peak tomorrow as this little S swell makes landfall.

Magic Seaweed shows surf peaking this morning and declining into tomorrow.

I give them an F for total fail if they can't even get a bog standard little winter S swell right.
