Temples.

Tried out Cheyne Horan's Winged Keel. Its convincingly ahead at #AltFins.

Here's some recent pics of Cheyne riding it;

Swellnets calling it 1-2ft and not really worth it. Thankyou Swellnet.

I surfed consitent chest-high Narrabeen doing a mini impression of D’bah with bugger all out.
What time was that? I tossed up going that far but checked Manly to Longie early without seeing anything worthwhile so wrote it off and went back to Freshie for a swim.

I wonder how those star fins would go on a mid length?
Cheyne is riding a reasonable distance from the tail so they might work

6.30. By 7.30 it seemed to drop right off. Tide was going out so maybe that affected it. Just North of my peak was an even better peak with some decent barrels. Well populated up there though.

Swell surged about 10am and set in from a NNE fetch off the north coast, peaked around 3-4 feet a bit after low tide then began to decline after around 2pm. Really fun through those hours on sand exposed to that angle.

Were you expecting the pulse or did a hindcast based on being surprised by it?

I kinda expected it but was still a bit surprised by the long-interval feeling behind it

I'd like to hear more about Narrabeen from a local's perspective.

Had a truely miserable grovel yesterday. Couldn't get a park at Tama or Bronte which were getting the swell but did get one at Bondi.
