DY today. Nice waves for a change but it was almost as crowded as on the weekend. The only consolation was that there were no clubbies.

by myself in average surf, but the surface conditions were so nice with dark storm clouds and green clear water, silver morning light peeking through every now and again.
i see this absolute pecker in one of those wacky multicoloured wetsuits vests walk at least a hundred metres from up the beach, waits and watches til i catch a wave and then paddles out to the exact bank i'm on.

clown then kooks every wave. fk mate theres a couple of kms of beach all exactly the same and you are that much of a clueless goon that you have to paddle out to a bank with somebody already on it.

Managed a couple yesterday amidst the crowds. Saw some all time kook out face plants on the sand at high tide. This was while I was waiting for 5 minutes till I got a lull to get out. Got out there with dry hair.

Two attempts to get a park for a swim today. Gave up both times. Ended up walking to Bronte for a dip. Bloody crowded. Bus was packed on the way back too. Surf very ordinary.

Chest to head high windswell burgers. Was feeling particularly lazy so I took the mini mal out for early entry, glide, etc. Horrid storm water debris run off late arvo.

Anyone who surfs Sydney today will be setting their immune systems to the limit.

South Easterley kicked in before I was able to head down and I think ears will be thankful it hasn't stopped raining since.

seriously dredgy rip banks on a very gloomy morning, overhead plus on the sets. only 2 other guys out on the next bank down. surf report seriously wrong but I got a hot tip yesterday arvy that there was swell in the water at the right spots.

checked another back beach first and it was just unruly one and half overhead mostly closeouts. nobody touching it.

Around Sydney on the low tide (only time the wife allows me the car was trying to beat the expected onshore), a few growlers around, very peaky and tested my fitness a bit but not bad in the end. And the water wasn't as dirty as expected.

Went for a brief paddle yesterday to clear the head. Seriously ordinary. Traffic and crowds hitting mid summer levels due to Sculpture by the Sea. Half the beach side park is dug up. Tama looked promising but parking impossible. Not even going to look at it today.

/\ There were some decent waves about yesterday earlier on. I reckon half of Bondi turned up though as it was pretty small there apparently. Plenty of new faces in the line up, paddling wide on the inside, making total fking nuisances of themselves.

Today was compete garbage. Didn't bother.

^^^
It was pretty good yesterday early yesterday morning if you could get a wave. The North End was pretty packed as nowhere else along the beach was working. I think the forecast was meant to be a southerly but the wind was offshore. Saw a chick on a foamy go over the falls into the path of a guy on the wave.

Today was just a fitness paddle. I made a note to avoid the guy on the NSP who couldn't hold on to his board.

Messy onshore slop today. More of a fitness paddle than anything else. Saw a French guy drop in twice.

Really?
These GC women sapped your energy huh?

Surfed really fun loggin waves late yesterday arvo and a super fast but average beachie this morning on my old 5'9 quad that I shaped ages ago. Water was nice though. Dbah looked pretty good.

Couple tiger sharks swimming under surfers at the local spit the other day too
