Some nice waves yesterday, perfect offshore conditions, very erratic swell but overhead on the sets. Only six out by midday, all on longboards. It was fun getting used to steep drops on a 9' semi performance longboard. I can see me surfing it around Ulus in my dotage... hang on, wait, I'm already there.

Rocker not quite as flat, shallow single to double concave, soft rails, no hard edge in the tail, 2+1, epoxy, 22" wide.

A performance longboard will have a lot more rocker, super hard edges in the tail, narrower tail and nose, 4+1, not so wide.

And 11 fcukin' channels!

Not compared to the foul uses to which I'm gonna put it.

If that thing doesn't star in some pseudo hipster backlit down the line imagery, ruined only by my complete unwillingness to do a Soul Arch, my name's not Mary McGregor.

wait, what?

Tourists have blown in big time.
Unbelievable crowds today for surf that wasn’t that great.
Almost as many Qld plates as NSW and then
I saw more from every other state on top.
Vans packed to the brim galore too.
I’m gonna be one of them and fuck off further down the coast

No it is not.

buddy it's got futures plugs, I'll probs surf it a coupla times then get a special set cut for it when I know what suits

I guess it's a 6'2" designed to surf bigger hollow surf, just a single concave in and out, tiny vee entry and flat exit, simple curves precisely matched to each other.

Barrels! I got a sick one this morning on a beachie down here, didn't make it but an epic view. It spat and closed out at the same time.
