Nowhere, yet. Swell has been around 400kJ ( ) predicted to go to 2,500 today. Checked it at first light, small and bumpy, needs the offshore.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Just went for a surf by myself, 4 or 5ft right hand point, bloody cold, water was warm yhough, 14deg. was a great surf had a fit of laughter, lasted about 2 minutes, was a bit worried I was losing it but in the end the laughter one out as it felt really good, also it gave me some relief from the song i couldn't get out of my head, so it was all good, 7.5 out of 10 for this surf very powerful swell too.

Went for an unexpected surf, damn good
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Waist high DY early. Surprisingly clean and uncrowded. Fun.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
Regular sets up to double overhead all yesterday and so far today. Two surfs yesterday but couldn't get any rhythm, mainly because I was avoiding the bigger sets. Both surfs ended ignominously, caught outside (sic) by 8 wave sets of the day, every single one on the head. Waiting for the offshore and the tide to drop. Only 4 people out at Ulus atm

Love rocking up for the dawnie to find the wettie I threw in the boot was my son's size 5. Had to make do with boardies and a vest, just bearable.

North Tura beach. Few good lefts coming through protected from the wind by Bourna Island. 3-4 ft wind swell whipped up by the cnutish NE that raged all night. Hit the inside bank pretty hard. Big egg on my right wrist and sand all through my wettie from one failed barrel.
