That low tide bank is fun to surf but encountering it on a ski at the wrong moment is, well pretty funny.

Might pump up here over the next few days though.

Nonsense. We are the water athletes loofy dreams of being. This farcical weather system will run from us like a hunted rabbit.
Wrong Nick, I am the waterman I dream of being. You can keep all the commercial self promotion fluff.

Speaking of which......I bolted from work and paddled out into one of the last hot summer type afternoons of the season. Micro small.....crowded.....I pulled off a head dip on the inside.....stoked.

Two hour session this afternoon at south end out the back in front of the clubhouse. Bagged about a dozen overhead left peaks. walled up and shapely and running all the way into the beach. but pretty tough work as you were surfing head on into the blustery south wind at about 30-40 knots. Surfed the 7'6 TRI FIN MINI MAL (hi steve) and it made light work of it. Early entry, and loads of drive to link the wave all the way through. There were about 10 or so out on the reef, which was mostly sectioning out. A couple paddled over to join me on the left but didn't manage to catch anything. Would've been near impossible on a shorty, so I'm really thankful I chose to surf my 7'6 TRI FIN MINI MAL
