Well it’s quite likely Newport had bigger waves as cronulla wouldn’t have seen any of the underlying north east swell.

Maybe take notes on that one. Then Back to sipping Aldi whiskey beanmong.

Ah, the autumn suit. Good choice!

I wasn’t questioning nicks judgement mongpole. Just surprised to hear there were actually some reasonable sized waves about.

Trying to avoid the wind so popped into mid Manly and to my surprise scored this lined up shoulder high left hander that gave for about an hour. Was riding this 7ft narrow 2+1 thing and it loved the speedy bank. Great fun.

Bought a new long arm short leg wettie as well. Rip Curl Aggro. Pretty comfortable.
Surfed there mid-arvo, there was definitely an underlying swell in between the wind chop but the low tide wasn’t helping. Good for a paddle though.

Well given that the glutes are your body’s largest and most powerful muscle group and powers almost all for your movements as it connects to your core, quads, hamstrings, knees etc, then yes building strong glutes will certainly increase athletic performance.

But if you’re 60 years old, working an office job sitting on your glutes and wasting them and the rest of your body away rapidly then sure, help yourself. Go right ahead take some pleasant whiskey sips, nay gulps while I work on healthy living.

Rightio......basically I rarely sit down at work and run up and down flights of stairs all day. Compared to when I was commuting for hours to the north side I'm significantly fitter than I was ten years ago. Since being on long service leave I've been surfing everyday and have expanded my exercise routine so I'm feeling really good. Haven't had a drink tonight.....but thanks for the well wishes.

Lol. Dream on. Your body is way out of shape. Your surfs are laughable splash and giggle sessions in waist high reforms. Running up and down stairs. Wow.

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.

What are the birds saying?

Only element missing is a generous wad of parsley sticking out of Iggy's wax pocket. Unless the new glutes leave room for nothing else.
