Banks around here are not liking this Easterly swell direction.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
2-3ft and pumping this morning. Nice surprise as there was nothing in the forecasts or reports. Must have kept the crowds away too. #winning

Yep, thought I would go for a paddle just to get some exercise. Scored three quick set waves and paddled in happy.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
The swell has dropped to around head high lately and the crowds are out in force at Ulus - I counted 120 at at the peak/race tracks yesterday

English sensibility.
I remember after a season at Bourneouth and Boscombe piers surfing english channel windslop coming home and 1-2ft NE windswell was "pumping".

Fun, uncrowded waves this morn back on the N coast.
Swellnet saying it's inconsistent.
Well I surfed In Vic on the weekend and that is what I call inconsistent.
3's a crowd down there for sure.

Swell is still hanging in up here. If anything today was bigger than yesterday at my local point.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Bohemian Fitzwegian women come more frequently than surf coast waves on a 3 foot distant groundswell.

Were you not tempted to, you know, move around a little bit? It sounds like you did a Beanpole and just stumbled hungover to the worst possible option time after timesteve shearer wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 8:22 amEnglish sensibility.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Oh I scoped out one of Englands best secret spots Godsave and gave those pommies a lesson in Aussie power surfing they won't forget in a hurry.
somewhere in North Cornwall.
they all tried to stink-eye me out like it was Newport beach on a Monday morning.
actually that coast was almost more depressing, because I kept expecting real waves and didn't realise Ireland blocks most swells.

Was this your fabled go out at millook on the borrowed minimal? I’m sure you’ve written before about what a great surf you had there when you weren’t trying to be all tough and hard-bitten in front of an antipodean audience
