It was just a little local event, pet. Beach 10k, mostly flat but with a spiteful finish. Anyway, I don't run with technology. I like the silence to be honest, the opportunity feel the nuances of the ground. At points I felt like I was soaring like an eagle, my spirit animal, at others I felt as old as the Earth itself. I cried, twice. At mile five I spontaneously embraced the man running next to me. He held me close and whispered "I know, brother, I know" and then he was gone. Somewhere along the route, and I have no memory of this, I must have removed all my clothing and daubed ancient runes on my body with berry juice. It was all quite magical

Surprisingly fun low tide peaks this morning
difficult getting across the almost dry outside bank, as it had a horizontal waterfall and all manner of currents into the deep inside channel
Very shifty and peaky with some surprise dredgers, wind was absent till about 10.30am

I had a little backdoor/ pipe setup on the outside bank too. Saturday crowds, but just sat deeper right on the peak and waited for the bigger ones. Got one epic left after about 40 mins out there and just came in.

Snared a few at the local. Shifty and rippy but the bank was still there hiding under a bit of whitewater in the sets. Tama looked good but crowded. Comp on at Bronte.
Most annoying thing was an SUP rider who kept paddling in a figure eight all the time. So you would paddle well away from the annoying Fcuk only to find him circling around so he was near you. Didn't matter which way you paddled. He got caned on 90% of his take offs. Occasional set breaking hard on the bank.
