Had a really fun surf this arvo. Stiff offshore and zippy little lefts.

Surfed the monthly Mal club comp this morning.
Got a second.

Oddly, I do better in the over 50s group than the over 65s.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Good on ya, Trev. Over 65s must have more time to practise.

The reality of it is more like, after one heat, I'm too tired to catch waves in the second. #*!

I can free surf for more than two hours and go home and mow the lawn.
One 20 minute heat and I'm ready for a Nana Nap.

A bit of side chop this arvo. Same bank. Same tide. Still fun.

Uh, oh. All this swell looks like it could chew up my current favourite bank. I've only had about three surfs at Bondi this year, I think. That has to be a record.

Pretty crowded with school hols this morn. Looked good but pretty lully.
Waited 15 min for a wave, caught it in to the beach as I was getting cold in boardies/vest.
Might wear a wetty tomorrow morn.

And by pumping, Nick means there are actually some breaking waves at Scarborough!

17 second period swells forecast there for Sunday. Can Perth beaches handle it?
