Nothing worse than the average Joe on a short board who's basic skill set is bottom turn, off the top, bottom turn......and when the waves get bigger and better all he's got is doing more of the same as fast as he can.....until the wave passes him by.

I don't know about that. I think I do alright mostly when on my own, but in social situations my graces often abandon me. I blame other people.
