Sir Tardalot of the Fetch.
The moving finger writes and having writ moves on ... now all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel even half a line ... nor all thy tears wash out a single word of it.

Compare it to the low/cold front second week of Jan this year which actually generated the biggest S swell of the year so far and it's night and day.

I hope he's wrong too, but he sounds so convincing .
Meanwhile, I can't complain - there's been fun waves with minimal crowds just about everyday for a long time now.

Anyhow, in other surf forecasting news the North Pacific Jetstream is finally starting to shift southwards to it's more common winter positions steering much stronger severe gale to storm-force low pressure system fetches towards the Hawaiian islands.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Nice style bud!
I'm going with Carroll on this system. Only because it is a kid-free weekend for the Wyre, and I have to get my froth on.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
The satellite passes of the South Island fetch look better this morning, a bit more has protruded into the Tasman, though the vast bulk of the fetch is still lurking behind the South Island.
Still, with a westerly flow from the Tasman low on hand, it'll be fun.
Not so much up here with a more WNW-NW flow.
Those S Island swells arrive here with a very distinctive swell angle .....normally long-lined, long lulls. They look and feel more like Indo swells. Very, very nice here on local points as long as un-hyped. Not so much for beachbreaks. Too long, too straight. With a couple of rare exceptions that will still struggle under devil winds.
The Tasman low itself looks weirder, and worse. If that thing did move out into the Tasman and stand and deliver it would be on like Donkey Kong.
A very, very weird pattern.
