I had a chronic case of the runs about two months ago now. Worst I had in years. Could barely eat a bit of toast for days. Any liquid went straight through.

Yeah I know. I remember being stuck in Pangandaran in Java in 1982 for days because my wife was really sick. I was getting really worried so went for a walk to get help. In my woeful Bahasa I managed to get the message across to someone and ended up with a sheet of tablets called Enteroviaform. Fixed the missus in a couple of hours, it was like a miracle.
Those tablets were probably banned in most 1st world countries, but man they worked.

When I got stung/bitten by whatever it was earlier in the year the hospital had to call in an infectious diseases doctor to write the prescription, and call the chief of surgery to authorise the pharmacy to release it before they were legally allowed to give me the antibiotic they wanted to use.

Bizarrely it didn't seem to wreak havoc with my guts at all, though I do eat a fair bit of yoghurt and kimchi.

Fcuk eh, I had a lot of fun today! Confused swell energy but just right for where I was surfing. Pinballing around, a lot of turns felt good, playful and a bit elevated. Boardshorts! So happy.

Yes, I had my first surf for the season in boardies and a thermal. Tama looked okay actually but trying to get a park around there is like winning Lotto on the weekend.
