Exactly moron. It seems the (Hawaiins) use the same scale as we (Aussies) do. I read it. Then I posted it. I wasn’t referring to surflines measurements. That’s why I posted the comment you colossal dullard.

Were you deprived of oxygen during birth or something?

Hard left hook from Hatch, may have caught Beany on the nose. Let's see how he comes back from this one ladies and gentlemen.

Seriously. C’mon. Doesn’t his stupidity wind you up? Why on earth would anyone repost a comment without first reading it ?!

I don't want any part of it. Once in a while it's funny, otherwise, i don't much care for it.

Surfed a pretty well known swell magnet today, was the only thing on offer. No banks to speak of, just a shorey for the most part. Got wet.

Went for an arvo walk with the kids. Curly to Manly. Bit of energy in the water, looked 3-4ft at Curly about 3pm. Also look cold, straight, fat and 'orrible.

That's why it's called the Hawaiian Scale, dumbarse. You know.....where they have large waves.
You obviously haven't been paying attention.
It's like going.....see they have country and western music in Nashville just like we do.

Yes, nematode. But it’s the same scale 1ft : 0.5ft scale that’s used here. Right or wrong. It simply is. Again. Go check swellnet or coastalwatch - the two main report sites in this country. And Australia also get large waves. Heard of the roaring forties? WA, SA, VIC. TAS. Even NSW gets big.

Go drink your liver further into oblivion you tragic.

Just to recap, shit for brains. The basic argument is that this method developed in Hawaii. It has some relevance in an environment where the waves regularly get huge. As it spread out it became something that people who had been there and regularly rode large waves adopted....plus wannabes who thought it made them seem a bit tougher by saying the surf was so small. That's where you come in. This has all been covered with references....that you obviously didn't bother to read. So after all this you jump up and go..."see, they use this in Hawaii just like us."
It's like an Elvis Impersonator going..."See, Elvis sounds just like me."

I read the references. I know the fkn story you goddamned dork. And none of it matters at all —— while the 1 : 0.5 metric is the overwhelmingly used scale all throughout this country.

Again. Go check swellnet or coastalwatch - the two main report sites in this country.

I’d seriously get a great pleasure out of crushing your sad old windpipe shut.

That's nice, The Hatch. Try a bit more time in the gym to work out your anger management issues.
Using bold capitals always wins an argument :-D-:
You are the one who included the Hawaiian reference. So some surf reports use those scales?
These days they usually include a reference to it in physical scale too.
