yep
staying both sides of the main island then the north coast of Savaii. ive managed to find out the location of whats
known as the samoan superbank. an all tides reef 10min paddle off the beach. I also know of a bunch of other
breaks that unless you go with one of the surf camps you probably wouldn't find and they don't really go to unless
the go to breaks are crap. 3 week trip. should be good!

Maybe they took it off....but it was definitely on Netflix last year.

i'd kill for a bit of that right now. i think it's been about 3 weeks since I've had a proper surf. Had a hurried one down in pottsville on tuesday, in pretty good waves, but only had a 40 min window

Braithy - I surfed Pottsville a couple of weeks ago, just north of "that spot". That whole stretch looked pretty much a shutdown. Either that or it needs a peaky east swell. The banks overall looked pretty turd and straight. Big storm gutters

it's still got that big heap of shit gutter you gots to cross to get waves.

That's why I prefer the mostly beach breaks in the Southern half of NSW. Headlands and pockets and basins all over that better contain swell and varied heights, directions etc.
Sure they don't have the same exposure to sand flow, but it's a blessing in most cases.
That said, the beachies up there can be epic on their day
