Me too. What a time to be alive. The new ASL better deliver on what it promises, I'm a kook at the moment.

Absolutely bombing here.

Coming out of the sky.....I saw many legitimate 8footers and maybe a couple true 10 footers.

So that's 300 foot faces then with the occasional half a kilometre one thrown in?

I think all of the Eastern Suburbs turned up at the one manageable spot yesterday arvo. It wasn't as packed as the morning but it was still too packed for that spot.

Right starts off all hi performance but then fattens out into a cutback wave. Left was better, bitch of a paddle out, non-descript shifting take off zone, but really fun once you jagged one - bit like a weaker version, less classier version of dolphin point. Now on the ferry to a right point further north.

The wind was strong but really smoothed out the swell - man, some bombs were running into mystics on the dropping tide. So some incredible barrels with guys slotted really deep and plenty made it. I made none, but am happy to have my board intact. Swell has really dropped now. Went from well overhead to head high just over lunch.

Ended up at crescent. Just got in. First ever surf there. A little overhead on the sets, south swell pushing straight past. Long wave but sends you to sleep.

You're not supposed to just go in a straight line on that wave

Yeah I think i need to surf it on a twin fin and send it north a few times to add some zest to it. It was pretty boring at fat 2-3 foot on a single fin.

Seems just like a longer version of arrawarra

Fcuken hell, it's supposed to be tiny at JBay today but no, still 4' Iggy measure, straight as and light dead offshore SW. All the professional surfers have left! Ha ha! Imagine flawless super bank over half-reef, half-sand, with about twice the power and 20 people out.

Yep, only got into it again when I started riding a mal. It's much better out the end in an East Swell. You tend to not get those big foam balls rolling around the point. You get a refractory peak off the headland. Mal, fish, that kind of thing is the go. How was the beach break?
