Lol. If you could have another 4 control settings what would they be? e.g. Buttery, Bazzers, "The Groyne"

well it's gone flat here. what a shame, the local Newport residents will be denied another dazzling performance from moi.

Scores are in now. Carroll just managed to pip Loofy by 1/100th of a point - can you believe it- ! The Brazilian judge has come through for the plucky youngster from the Northern beaches with the new moves.

So the mini mal comp, minimum & maximum length restrictions? Thruster only or are singles & 2 + 1's allowed? Need to get the criteria sorted hatchy, wtf is a "mini mal"????

I don't know what i'm going to do when it eventually goes flat. I've fallen into such a pattern of awaken. coffee, toast & toilet. load car & drive to my go-to banks dependant on the tide.

this autumn has made that a daily routine.
Buy a mini mal & enter the RS mini mal surf about????

'Choppy' , 'Blown Out' & 'Blue Bottle Infested' And then operate all three together to replicate a typically enjoyable summer surf session.

You could also do it by Movie Themes and play the sound tracks while people surf. Get that skate bowl feel.

Lol. I had some fun on the ever trusty 7'0" in shoulder high average beachy just now. Reinforced my idea that 7'0" is the magic length for me.

I reckon it would qualify for the category of the dreaded mini mal :-)(

board needs to be in the 7-8 foot range. tri fin, 2+1, single, or twin, or bonzer, or whatever TF.
no pointy nosed boards. frangipani or hibiscus flower decals highly recommended

mini mal = mini malibu = mid length

I took the finless 7'2" and the 5'10" channel bottom thinking I might take the finless for a spin at the `pass after work but i ended up back down here with the channel in head high point surf.

I got so frothy I put my chest zip wetsuit on back to front.

Yeah sometimes, not with any real sense of "yeah let's do this" but just when it feels right. Little ones, popping off the surface for a moment sort of stuff. I see a lot of opportunities but I am v aware of age related risk, like parts of my body don't flex with impact the way they used to and I am fcuked if I want to spend three months out with a torn ankle ligament just because of a dumb air attempt in 3' surf. 'Cause I'll guarantee that would happen if I really started pursuing it.

I would have loved to be a kid now though with all the options you have in your surfing, being in the air feels insane, it'd be amazing to be able to pull one of those floaty full rotation things.
