fun clean 2 foot winter peelers this morning. surfed the 6'10 single fin, did precisely zero turns, just take-off-bottom turn and set a trim line standing like a relaxed ape the whole run of the wave and kicked off the back. #pleasant

I've had 5 days straight now. Last two days just a crew of locals out. Fun waves, awesome sunrises.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Where the fuck is everyone? Had the premier local surf spot to myself for 2.5 hrs and there's still no one out and it's cooking.

Took the Mrs. For a surf lesson in a southern corner. Tiny but a bit of fun. Longboarder made sure the Mrs. didnt go anywhere near any of the waves lol. Bit annoying when we were at the southern most tip of the beach, where it was the smallest, and 150m further north the waves were shoulder to head high and much better. But anyway, good to get in the water

I surfed a few beaches north Buddy Boy, thought about driving down but couldn't be arsed when there was headhigh racetracks right in front of me.

also, been a few people seeing old whitey there lately which has spooked crew.

Beautiful Autumn morning, if I could implant one memory for the time when I lose my mind it would be an Autumn morning with nice swell.

Bang! I got a rail straight in the rips today. Like I'd taken the ball up off the kick off in Origin 1. Side note boys NSW this year. Gots to be.

I figured as much Steve. About the sharks. Or thought there must've been somewhere else cracking that everyone was on to.
As soon as I saw it I was straight out there. Was such a nice day that I didn't even think about noahs.

It's your best chance in years.

But the selectors will probably stuff it up again.

No. Just the opposite.
There'll be a few new young ones on board this year.
The "too old" brigade seem to have gone OK up till now. :-)(

Maloney and Pearce in the halves will get the job done. Topou, Ferguson and Mitchell to complete the backline.

The Queenslanders are too old, too slow, too injured. There has never been a better time to be NSW Origin halfback.

I don't think QLD will win that handsomely (again) ... but they're going win the series, maybe in a whitewash.

Are you an idiot pet ? Remember the last time the NSW newspapers trumpeted that line? We got flogged, as anyone with half a football brain knew would happen.

We have a good chance yes, but that doesn't mean anything unless the players take advantage of it.
