Where did you surf today ?

Should have surfed somewhere else - same conditions as Saltman, but had to play with others. And it went from mix of close outs and makable ones to all close outs within 5 minutes of me paddling out.

And of the others out one has to paddle over and sit right next to me - just in case my 1 foot close out was better than his.... And he was one of those guys that throws the whole body into a turn, but the board doesn't turn...

Got desperate after not surfing for nearly 2 weeks - yesterday with not much wind and a grovel. At least the water is warm

I went to DY yesterday, it was crap but nice to splash around after a week out of the water

Had a micro surf on Sunday. First surf since Bali. Had more fun than I thought I would.

Had to convince myself to paddle out into onshore 1ft slop on the weekend. I'm not sure it was worth it after surfing glassy reef breaks.

Didn't really surf much. Had a nice walk along the interstitial tidal zone for a k or two. Got a wave or two in tiny glassy conditions. Paddled back and down to Tomas beach, then back.

Reminded me of paddling out to third reef just down from Voodoo on one of those perfect sunny days when there's basically no swell but its nice in the little pockets of the reefs and you may just find a little wave somewhere
