seriously, if you havn't noticed the wind HAS been ' blowing from the north" go and live in Haberfield.
Re: Where did you surf today ?
A north easterly swell drags the water up from the ocean floor. Hence the colder water temperatures.batoes wrote:surfed the farm this arvo latish and the water was cold! Thermal rashie has been very handy the last few days.
Had a really fun little session this arvo. Maybe the crew wS watching the Chooks get creamed but I got tons of waves.

I welcome the drop in water temperature. The slight chill is refreshing. It was like 23 degrees before. Like Queensland water temperatures.

been taking my daughter for dawn patrols to the pass.
it's been enjoyable- bit scrappy but 80-100 metre peeling sections everywhere.
I'd estimate the morning crowd to be 75-80% female, so by Cranked's definition you could say males are now a novelty at the pass.

@ braithy - Yeah but it ain't blue ribbon point break either.
Can't complain. The bank's got shape. The wave itself is just breaking a bit burgery in the conditions at present.
I prefer the south end when it's on. But it needs to be close to double overhead before it starts doing its thing.

Well there's a reason I spent a bit of time riding them out there. Still do from time to time, even when it's overheadsteve shearer wrote:Looks like mini-mal heaven Iggs.Hatchnam wrote:Crowded three foot slosh
