I stand corrected, thanks Saltman. The Fat Albert was from John Arnold also in Adelaide.

25th ave again. looked pretty reasonable from shore. 2-3ft lefts & rights, not that many out. paddled out got one nice left then nothing. wherever I paddled to it started breaking where I'd just been sitting. didn't have the patience to wait it out so came in and typically saw some nice ones coming through again as I drove off.

Salty...yeah the board turned out fine. As is the case...then things fell apart a tad..and then/now I'm into 7 weeks after a stint at John Flynn with an abdominal op for a hernia, but longer recovery. Am back doing "gentle" recovery now paddling now on a SUP which doesn't stress the belly.
Just had a week down at Angourie in that last swell two weeks ago after the Nth Coast ECL. No surf for me,but good times with longtime mates

Was very interesting surfing a beachie with 13-15sec period swell this morning. Certainly some added grunt approaching the mid morning low tide!!

Still have water draining out of my nose every time I bend over!!!

last night in bed at about 11, i rolled over and half a freaking litre of ocean drained outta me nose onto the pillow. i had to get up and swap pillows.

scored more this morning. smaller, but still lots of energy, and at the lower size, it was more suite to the stretch of sand i was surfing.

i've surfed more lefts this autumn than i can ever remember. i feel like i've come back from fiji or indo.

Actually had a fun surf this arvo. Funny swell. Way full with big lulls but a fair bit of push when they turned up.

Yep have surfed the last 5 days around DY-Long Reef stretch and the juice factor was up a notch today. The tides really dictating the fun factor this week.

Drove down late yesterday and it looked less gutsy than today. Bronte was breaking quite a way out this arvo.

Gee, four days straight surfing as of yesterday.....as opposed to four surfs in four weeks before. Some zippery little ones for the late yesterday. First surf in a steamer this year too.

Jesus MM, have a bit of consideration for your mates, who am I going to surf and ride with? You should be out of bed and on your way south by now, enjoying the last of your mid week freedom

took my daughter out for her first surf at the Point.
it was sheet glass perfection not a drop of water out of place. head high on the sets. Probably a tad too big for comfort but she nailed the rockoff and got five waves including an absolute freight train.
