Daylight saving... humbug. Rewards the fcuken lazy. Steals an hour off anyone keen enough to salute the dawn and hands it FOC to some lazy peanut who slept through the whole thing.

:D :D Love it. Plus a sleep in 8)
You can run around and still have time for a cup of tea, long surf, beer and BBQ before the sun goes down.
Not much point in QLand though since it can't handle a NEster.

Since its light before 5am with daylight saving and dark after 8pm I can't see how it makes it difficult for an early or late surf. Hey, its Summer.

Double edged sword in QLD. It's great because you can be in the water at 4:30 and at work by 7 with two solid hours under your belt in perfect morning conditions...on the down side, we have so many great evenings up here it would be good to have some extra light for a L.A.R.G.O, a BBQ with the family or 9 holes of golf!

In PNG, we don't have it. The problem here is it gets dark at 6pm every night, doesn't matter what season!

3 days straight now. That's amazing for up here at this time of year.
Today was the best.
Lumpy and bumpy when I waded in at 4.28am.
Kept getting better, though.

Some guys were getting pretty good little barrels.
Me? I got smashed.
But plenty of good ones, too.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Nice to hear Trev, we've had two perfect afternoons of 3ft glassy perfection at The Grave Yard.

First surf for three weeks.

It's a nice change!

Paid some reef taxes today. It's been a while so I suppose I was due. Feet, hands and chest. What really worries me is that I always seem to pay taxes in 3's....

Maybe I should just skip work tomorrow and go surfing so I can get it out of the way!

5 days straight of surfing now.
Not super surf but it's nice to just be able to get wet daily and catch a few waves.
