Nothing to do with the hands, at the right resonant frequency the car just starts drifting like on black ice.
Absolutely.
And the frequency varies by car, by spring and shock rates (and how worn they are).
Not to mention the actual gap between each corrugation.
Except of course for loofy who no doubt uses his Dreamtime experience to just mentally smooth out the vibes. 🧚

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Road out to Plomer is a classic for corrugated road surfaces. That road gets flogged.

Funny the road to Hat Head is bitumen but nowhere near as crowded. They also installed some dips on the backroad that aren’t all well signposted and would do serious damage if you took them at speed.

Fcuk. Wasn’t going to go for a surf since it’s a bit onshore. Thought WTF and took the foamy out in the corner. Noticed a few bluebottles on the shore. Paddled out and saw more. Learner near me got one wrapped around his wrist. Then I caught a wave and got wrapped around my ankle. Haven’t been stung like that for a while. Afew people on shore comparing bites and backpackers asking what these blue things on the shore are. Decided that was it for me. Swarms of the things floating around the shorebreak.

Took the afternoon off and hit up north Maroubra. Not ideal conditions, long period south swell etc. but still some inconsistent and reasonably punchy overhead sets coming through.
Surfed the 6’2 twin fin. Put in a four hour session to give myself a solid chance to figure the board out. So far, it feels great. It’s loose, it’s fast, turns nicely and with good control.

Insert abuse about what type of retard Mong would go and surf largish Nth Bra in a southerly swell with onshore winds.

Sure, plenty of shut downs, but also peelers in the mix forming angular walls off the dunnybowl with a hell current running opposite direction. If you timed it right against the current you could chip-in an early-take off behind the bowl and link it thru. Not always, but often it would link thru. There was also shifting lefts running off the stormy, managed a couple of speed runs and backhand snaps. Noticed on the twinny you just need to turn that touch earlier vs a thruster, which gives it more hold and bite.

2-3 foot east corrimal earlier on, nice shape, clean. Left and right options. Had a bank all to myself

Bondi. Three circuits to get a park but as usual in those conditions the surf wasn’t that crowded. Nice little bank and nabbed a few.

2-3ft righthand reef break top end of east corrimal. similar size to yesterday, but better quality and just a little less energy. Clean conditions, fast walls and a nice lip to rip into. Surfed the 6'2 twin. That thing's becoming super comfortable and very easy to surf. Loose but good control and quick! Very happy with it.

Bondi….only two runs through to get a park. Comp on down south end. Crowded and bigger ones were shutting down. Got a good right at the start then a lot that either close out or died out on the inside. Finished with a good hollow left that reformed right across the Shorey. Pretty happy considering. Ripped the bag out of it as usual.

Voodoo 2-3 foot dawn session. Surfed the 6’2 twin. Goes great backhand. Got a few that went right the way thru inside the point. Cutting back it felt I could take a higher line and drive deeper back into the pocket, unrestricted without the centre fin.

Today was fun and cruisey. But even at 3 foot it can pack a punch with a long period south swell and low tide.
