I think MTB injury might be stretching it a bit.

Not at all, I got a surfing injury once when a sharp fin cut my thumb, getting the board out of the board bag.

If you take away the ing from the original post ‘MTB’ing injury’ then it is correct.

If you are putting fishing rods in a car and you get a treble hook stuck in you, it's a fishing injury.

How did the Covid end up?

I wasn’t even sick really.
Boy had fever two nights and fussiness.
Missus eventually got it for her first time round. Wasn’t too bad but worse than me. Just a bit of breathing restriction and mild cough that hang around.

I’ve surfed about one 30-60minute surf a week for 3-4 weeks.
Not in the best surf shape.
Been doing a 10-15minute kettle bell workout daily for the lasts 2 weeks which is helping a bit.

I want to seal it up and surf this week.

Just want to see some signs of healing first.

Chemist warehouse should sort you out. Plenty of ointments and water proof bandages/bandaids. They work well for protecting open wounds so you can surf without it developing into sea ulcers. I’ve done it a bunch of times with skateboarding injuries.

Belting into Bondi today. A few out at Bronte but it looks pretty crap. Probably go for a swim.

I was expecting things to have dropped off a bit by this morning. But I suspect there was some longer-period swell coming through that kept things pretty solid on the sets.

I would call it 4 foot or so.
Rare 5-6 footers
Sweepy with not that much guts to the waves themselves.
Good day for one of those hybrid step ups around 6’6-7’6 I reckon.

I rode the 6’2 DS as a quad. Paddle was fine but i surfed like shit haha.
