True. Yesterday I drove down. Drove around Bronte, Tama, through Bondi, up around the north bus terminus and assorted backstreets and just gave up and went home. Tried again later with the missus for a swim and ended up gazumping an old bloke for a park at Watsons Bay for a dip. Totally out of control.
Caught a few dribblers up the north end this morning.

Screaming right hand bank mid Maroubra, 3-4 foot plus south east swell

Long angular walls running full speed over a dredging inside bank.

Surfed the channel bottom single fin and it went like a bullet down the line. Got a barrel on a set wave, then pulled in again, but section pinched off too straight and fast. Got loads of waves.

Some poor bastard dislocated his hip by getting pounded directly into the bank. Ambulance came, carried off in a stretcher.

Waist to shoulder high peaks in beautiful warm water this morning. Probably the warmest water I’ve felt in Vicco. Boardies and rashie.

Pretty good yesterday. Smaller today. Nabbed a couple off the crowd then moved over to a lonely bank and nabbed a couple more. Then it went to shite and I pissed around for another 20 minutes trying to catch one in.

Mad local bank, it has just pumped for about 5 days, only small but just fccckn perfect.

I went up to the Pass for the dawny there was some mad, triple suck out barrels out on the back rock on low tide.

Saw my son pack one- probably the biggest set of the morning.

I got hit in the head by a board some old guy threw into a set wave I caught.

Luckily I saw out of the corner of my eye and had a split second to shell up and protect my head from full impact.

I did lose my rag a bit and gave him a gobful, which sent him in.

If only we could be more tolerant in the surf.
Had a fun surf this morning. Went down at half tide which proved to be spot on.
Heaps of waves. Regular crew turned up just after I got out and it got too full.

Didn’t think I was going to go out today. Turned into a bright sunny afternoon with waves. Water temp is great.
