17 degrees is fine on an active surf but not your average Victorian sit for 10 minutes waiting for a set kind of surf.

Boardshorts and wetsuit top muthafuckas. Yep you read that right. Air temp 32. Water temp 17ish. 3-4ft and a bit straight, but doesn’t matter. Because boardshorts and wetsuit top muthafuckas.

About the same temp and size here but I’m sticking with the steamer for now. Will try other options in the new year.

The afternoon off and surfed voodoo on the low tide. Strong wind from the north east
. Long period 3-4 foot plus swell on the very inconsistent sets. Still a few grinders coming through. Not many people out. Jeremy was out there tearing it up on his foil board / sail set up.

I’ve had 4 shots. Not rushing into the 5th….but we will see. St Vincent’s has dropped most protocols. They just ask you if you have had it recently before you go.

I had a fifth shot on Monday. No bad reactions at all.

A guy I was hanging out with in Bali got it so it's still a thing for sure.

Also had a basal cell carcinoma on my forehead cut out a week ago. Surgeon did a skin graft to cover it up. I've had a compression bandage on it for a week. I'm seeing him today to get the stitches removed, thank god, as its been no riding (can't fit my helmet on) or surfing (can't get it wet).
