Pumping again this morning.

Didn't think I'd be surfing the best waves of the year on the other side of the Grand Final.

Sick sesh this morning! It was inconsistent at dawn but started to pump once the tide pushed. Awesome sets.

North Steyne has been absolutely bombing this morning. It's funny how the swell is focusing into it as north and south is probably half the size but potentially some 8 foot barrels on the sets.

Belting in around here. Nowhere really handling it. Bronte was out of control. Had a bash up in Kiddies Corner with the hordes.

It’s heavy when it’s big. You can get stuck really easily. It will eventually wash you around to Bronte if you make it.
Never forget seeing a middle aged guy on a lid get swept into the cave in front of the cliff. Then he got blasted out onto Tama by a big set. Right through those two big rocks covered in barnacles. The Twins.

South facing beaches like Bondi probably were.

Yeah, Tama looked marginally bigger. Terrible banks around here at the moment. Saw them bulldozing sand into the surf at Bronte yesterday and at Nth Bondi today. Rips don’t know where to go.

Well despite the world falling apart, I surfed Beacon this morning in dense fog. Couldn’t see the beach so holding your position was extremely difficult. Fun size, glassy and uncrowded. Rode the Ghost. Life goes on.
