Years is rare, but it happens.

Happening right now.

There's been an insane bank at the Pass since Aug 2019, so more than 2 years.

Take a look at any surf cam and you can see it.

Constantly changing but you can wade across at low tide.
And you can walk across the Passage near the new opening at low tide.

Coastguard can't operate their larger boat at low tide.

There's a FB page called Bluey's Photography which periodically posts very good drone videos of the area which is well worth a look.

Had a fun surf on my old DVS today. Shoulder high wedges that connected to a racing bank.
