Those titties would have been bouncing about like ... well a pair of free range hippy titties on the Plomer road.

I drove out there one time and just when I hit the corrugations coming up to Plomer itself here comes a big Land Cruiser with a fcuking huge powerboat on the back. It’s rattling around violently and the look on the guys face was pure terror.

Surfed the snapper thru Kirra stretch. Did three laps. Current was horrendous, as it often is when the points are on. Got some crackers, then creased my board after getting mowed down on this sketchy dredge up bank in line with old second groin. Now in Byron. It’s handling the swell better.

McCoy. Thinking of getting another but in a 6’3.

Or I might be swayed to look at a 6’4 pyzel ghost xl.

Surfs pumping here and I only packed the one board. So I’ll end up grabbing something or other tomorrow

It looked better this arvo than when I was out there. Looked to pick up a bit this arvo when I looked out the front. Did you park where I suggested? It took me a little while living up here that rather than do a Beans and drive around looking for an elusive parking spot at Snapper. Now I park in a back street in Cooly and walk around because you’ll end up down past that way anyway if it’s pumping.

Wouldn’t be trying to park at Snapper if I was there. You forget I know the place better than you do, Jimny.

There were some six foot sets. Parked at dbah. Plenty spots.

The distinct difference between SEQ and southern nsw surf really hit home today, a proper reminder.

You’ll paddle your fucken ring out in SEQ to surf great waves. But way less effort down south to surf bigger conditions thanks to the way the coastline is all broken up

The sweep was horrendous yesterday ... then again, if you got into that reverse sweep at Snapper, you'd have been back at the D'bah carpark in no time.

Swell starting to show in Sydney now, a few solid sets with the tide dropping. It it was offshore, it would be epic.

Felt up a bunch of different shortboards

JS bulls eye, raging bull, and hi fi. DHD something or other. Some dominator 2 mankine FireWire thing.

None of them really appealed enough for me to throw cash at it.

Had a look see at angourie and crescent, both maxed out blustery washing machines with nobody out.

What are you looking for exactly, or inexactly?

I’ve owned a few twin fins before. Fun in softer conditions but not too keen on them in reefs or anything of size and consequence.

Probably just another McCoy nugget but in a 6’3. Over the past 18 months I’ve become very tuned with the whole design. Specifically as far as the back foot is concerned.

Most HPs boards don’t have a lot of thickness in the tail area, and I can see my back foot creeping too far forward to compensate.
