I can't believe how quickly the swell came up here - overnight.
On the Caloundra buoy it jumped from 1 to 3+ metres in a few hours.

I have to admit, I thought the bulk of this one would pass us by.
Club comp on Sunday. I wonder how long this will hang around?

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Home was solid today . Green water cold as but what a day . Missed the morning session as had jobs to do but paddled out at 12 with 3 people in the water and solid waves coming through with clean ups galore . A certain Island was breaking but the beach was firing - well worth some thumpings .Then the wind swung and it was crumble ville . Tomorrow will be on !

Not too bad a surf this morning. In the water at first light on my 9' mal. I've finally recognised the advantages of a single fin - good paddling and drive down the line, just a nice smooth slippery feel.

Erratic, head high waves, only four out.

Swapped to my 6'10 Wombat (set up as a quad) after a few hours when it got a bit crowded. Scored good waves taking off on the steep near close out faces which were giving mals a few problems. It was great to come off the bottom and hit the lip again. Used medium size fins front and back, rears double foiled, a setup I'd used years ago and nearly forgot about - it gives really good hold and speed.

Same again tomorrow but bigger, with a fair chance of onshores destroying it though.

Even looks like me ! Growing up I was Ba Ba , sheep and sheepie - both of which are still in use today . As most of the local crowd back in the eighties were under some substance or another Muz and Muzza was easier for them to get out than Mario .

Today was fun as fcuk.

New banks everywhere, east swell to spread out the crowds. Sunny, offshore, Sydney winters are great!

Another one! This is one heck of a winter.

Yep epic morning.
Surfed for 3 hours with just 3 other guys out until I had it to myself for another hour.
I assume everyone is at the ox still.
