because I'm sick of being charged minimum $70 for jobs that cost $30 on the Goldie.....and pls don't say do it yourself because it's a tad bigger than what I'm capable of fixing myself

funny ... I was telling my daughter just the other day about our old hangover cures from years back, one of them being a burger from a place at Dee Why called the Spotlight Milk Bar ...

she said " there aren't any milk bars around here anymore" ... and I thought ... she's right ... there are a bunch of places cookin' up greasy food and selling the same old stuff but they're not called milk bars anymore ...

FWIW - I rate Luke at the Ding Doctor over mango.

Mango butchered replacing a rear glass on fin on a semi gun of years ago.

Luke (Ding Doctor) has dropped his prices as well due to moving back to his garage.

(not saying he's cheap... nor expensive, but i've had him repair boards for me in the past and he does a bloody good job)

so does the gingery-haired middle-aged bloke in at Jacksons Surfboards Caringbah (forget his name, but his work is fkn impeccable)
thanks for that. i couldn't find him last time i looked - they knocked down the buildings near where he used to hang his surfboard. that's the guy, yeah? near the cops. i ended up dropping it off at the board shop at bronte.
good to know he's not gone.
