I've sold a couple on eBay. It was all good.

They all went for more than I expected, though I wasn't expecting that much in the first place.

The turn-around from sale to pick-up was usually pretty quick as well.

If you're realistic with the asking price there shouldn't be a problem.

aloha in manly is great to buy second hand boards. Ive bought a few boards that are almost brand new for around 300, they are also worth a shot for selling them your boards, or getting them to sell one on your behalf

Have sold a few boards through Aloha at Manly. There were great all round. They help to set a price that the board will sell for, helping you to maximise what you will get.

They take $50 for selling the board and you have to also add the GST.

Same here, you just need to start with a low reserve and hope for the best. I've sold 2 boards. My opening v final sale prices achieved were:-
1. From $5 to $60 (crappy shortboard)
2. From $50 to $325 (old mal).

Just be careful to describe the board's condition accurately and list it with photos.

With surfboards you can also avoid Ebay's coercive, Shylockian (and in my opinion immoral) Paypal arrangement as you can choose "payment on collection" as the payment option.
