That my poetry attempts were not too drear
I’ll take your advice and slow down a gear
And even better, your recommended intake of beer
As all would know I am partial to lawn
But certainly enjoy ringmasters posts of porn
The sh!t fights on realsurf are funny stuff
Almost as funny as iggy’s adventures with muff
Sometimes the topics can get quite grave
Like the environment, surf crowds, or ‘privates’ to shave
This morning with camera Butts went for a swim
But the currents and rips made it quite grim
The tide and the banks were making it fat
So it was tough getting pics of Chris on the Bat
I surfed this morning and am sure you’d agree
The best bit was after, having coffee
Although Butts was annoyed when he got out
‘cause I had a cuppa and failed to shout
This poetry thing is getting quite catchy
But I still say my attempts are pretty damn scratchy
I’ll get your advice if you show up for drinks
I wonder if Al will bring any skinks …
